Comfort Inn Mississauga

The room itself is why I'm leaving. The lock flashed green and red for me and for housekeeping, but the battery still hadn't been changed. The toilet didn't flush properly on my first try, and housekeeping hadn't dealt with it. The hot water was lukewarm at best, one bed's light didn't work, and the heater blew cold air for the first few minutes. Cable glitched every 3-4 minutes on every channel, so watching TV was impossible. There's no dresser, the fridge has no freezer, and the tiny seating area makes it hard to watch TV from the chair. There was a table sitting on the chair when I arrived. The front desk staff were okay, but often sat playing on their phones, and they didn't thank me for being a Diamond member as they're supposed to. I'm a Choice Diamond member and usually stay at Comfort Inns, so I know there's no room service to expect. This is a below-average Comfort Inn. There is construction and noise, but the discounted rate means that's a choice; it's also on a flight path, another choice. Breakfast is limited but no worse than similar places, though the sausage rounds here are terrible. I'm in the area for another week, but changing hotels, and unfortunately brands, to get away from here.

I've stayed at a lot of Choice Hotels across Canada, and personally, this is the best one. The staff are nice, and the updated rooms are very clean, look clean, and smell clean. They're exceptional.

I stayed here in September 2025. The room was updated, clean, comfortable, and great, with a cozy bed. Still, the hotel is overpriced for what it offers. Breakfast choices were very limited, and the products were low quality. Sadly, lower quality for higher prices seems to be the new trend in Canada.

For the GTA, the price is a real bargain, and check-in and checkout have always been smooth. So far, the deposit has come back the same day. The hotel is still being worked on, though many rooms have already had a facelift and are comfortable and quiet. Repairs seem to be done quickly just to get things out of the way, but it hasn't been a big deal for me. The main drawback is the construction around the area. Google directions can get convoluted and send you toward turns you can't actually make.
