The Grand Residences at Parkside Village

This 42-storey building has four elevators, but two are always down. At peak times, the average wait is 30 - 45 minutes. The elevators are faulty too, so you're always worried you might get stuck. A few days ago, I saw seven people trapped in one for more than an hour until the fire department came and got them out. Bad, bad management. I hope those people sue the building management.

There isn't a grocery store or park nearby, and the traffic noise from Confederation Pky is incredibly loud, even from more than 30 floors up. Three of the four elevators have been broken for the past few weeks, with an average wait of 30 minutes. Loud neighbors like to party, which feels unsafe for kids and makes working from home hard. The four linked condo towers share a fire alarm too, so an alarm at Brickstone Mews tower can be heard from 4070 Confederation tower. There are frequent alarms.

Living here is a complete nightmare. The building is mostly filthy, the wallpapers are coming apart, and the plumbing across the building is faulty, so you can often wake up with no water in the kitchen or washrooms. The condo management seems corrupt and doesn't care about maintaining the place or fixing these problems. Most of the elevators are out of order too, leading to endless waits. Do not buy a condo here.

Getting in and out of the parking is always a pain because there's no temporary or visitor parking. Delivery drivers park wherever they can and often block the road from the parking area. There's also an elevator problem: at any given time, one elevator will be down.
