Le Westin Tremblant

The outdoor pool was a highlight for the kids. Martin, the lifeguard, tossed gems into the water for them to find, hid little trinkets, and turned the search into fun games. My children already love outdoor pools at ski resorts, but he made this one even more exciting. We went every evening. We could grab our skis, head out the back door, and reach the lifts in under a two-minute walk. The mountain is stunning, and the pedestrian village is charming, with plenty of restaurants, cute shops, and everything within easy walking distance. Most nights we had drinks at the Le Westin bar or in the hot tub, which has a handy button to request service. Elaine served us on several evenings, handling both the indoor bar and hot tub service with constant back-and-forth while keeping her smile and making excellent drinks. From the moment we arrived at Le Westin, the service was outstanding. Naej, apologies if I’ve got the spelling wrong, helped unload the car, showed us thoughtfully around our room, and gave us great recommendations. He was friendly, helpful, full of positive energy, and a joy to chat with. We can’t wait to return to Le Westin Tremblant and Mont-Tremblant.

The King suite felt like a home away from home during our three nights there. I hadn't been back in over 15 years, and the property has only gotten better. They're in the middle of a full renovation, with much of the hotel already transformed. Can't wait to return next year and enjoy the Magic of Mont Tremblant again.

The outdoor heated pool and hot tub were the best parts, and the staff were kind, polite, and helpful. Our sixth-floor room had a lovely view, plenty of space, and new furniture. The lobby was nicely designed and furnished too. There were a lot of problems for the price, though. Our room was cold and the heating seemed inefficient, while our friends' second-floor room was extremely hot. The toilet didn't flush properly, and there was toilet paper and dirt residue in it when we arrived, so it didn't seem fully cleaned. The toilet paper provided was poor quality, and the hair dryer was broken. One elevator was out of service, which meant long waits. A sanitizer dispenser was broken, and the other was empty. The main-floor bar had few options, and parking at almost $47 a night felt excessive. With the maintenance, cleanliness, and operational issues, the hotel felt expensive for the quality and service. It gave the impression that management may be poor. There are some good points, but a lot needs improvement.

We had a huge King suite with a lovely fireplace, and the outdoor hot tub was still enjoyable at -30C. Getting to the mountain from the third floor was great, with ski lockers right there, and the underground parking was easy to navigate. The service was amazing. Highly recommend.
