The location made getting to the hotel easy, and the front desk team were genuinely kind and welcoming during our family trip. The room cleaning, though, was disappointing. We found a cookie on the floor and several socks tucked under the bed. Housekeeping needs to pay closer attention to the small details.

We were right in the pedestrian village, with the gondola, zipline, Tonga Lumina trail, shops, and restaurants all less than a minute away. Back in the suite, it was peaceful. The balcony looked over rooftops and lovely fall colors glowing in the sunset. For the price, the room was a pleasant surprise: roomy, clean, and comfortable, more like a cozy apartment. The kitchen had what we needed, the living area had a fireplace, and there was plenty of space to eat. The bed was comfortable too, and the warm lighting and thoughtful layout would work well for a short or longer stay. Staff were courteous, and check-in went smoothly. I’d suggest refillable toiletry bottles to replace the single-use plastic ones. That would suit the place’s natural, sustainable feel. We had a great stay and would come back. It felt like good value, especially with that location and a room that felt like home.

The village views from the rooms are great, and the location is hard to beat. Underground parking and ski lockers are convenient too. Check-in is at the desk near the roundabout. Ask for extra sheets for the sofa bed, because it’s extremely uncomfortable. The suites are expensive and can barely fit six people. There’s plenty of good quality kitchenware and utensils, though the knives are too dull to cut anything.

After a long trip, I went to the desk hoping for some understanding, but the receptionist was dismissive. I’d booked a higher-priced mezzanine suite two months in advance, with two queen beds and a sofa bed. Instead, I was given a regular room with just one queen bed and no mezzanine. When I asked what happened, the receptionist blamed Expedia, said my room had been given away, and made no effort to fix it or apologize. They just shrugged and said, “this is what you get for booking hotels at a discount.” I felt as though my reservation didn’t matter. I later submitted feedback in an online survey. Management emailed an apology and explained that October is their busiest month because of the fall colors, and that hotels fill up well in advance. I appreciate the acknowledgment, but I had booked early and still got downgraded without a discount or compensation. Being treated that way at the front desk made the experience even worse. A little empathy, professionalism, and accountability would have made a real difference. I hope they take the feedback seriously.

Mylène made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. She was warm, friendly, professional, and went out of her way to help. The rooms are spacious and have an older charm that makes them feel cozy. The location is perfect for getting around, and having parking made the trip stress-free. I had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!
