Residence Inn by Marriott Mont Tremblant Manoir Labelle

The staff were kind and accommodating throughout our ski weekend in Mont Tremblant. When the parking garage door had a problem on our first morning, they dealt with it quickly and surprised us with complimentary parking, which we hadn’t expected and really appreciated. Our room upgrade was lovely, and the room itself was excellent. It’s a great spot for skiing, just a short walk to the Village lift up to the main gondola, and handy for spending time in the village. We also enjoyed the very good breakfast and relaxing in the hot tub after skiing. My son and I had a great time and will stay here again.

The little gym in the parking garage really needs a full overhaul. If it were updated and made larger, the hotel would have everything needed for a long stay at the resort. Everything else made for a fantastic week. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the rooms comfortable and well maintained, and the place was very clean. The building is one of the original new builds from when Intrawest developed Tremblant in the 90s, but it’s kept up nicely. Breakfast was decent too. We were grateful for a great upgrade and a late checkout, which gave us time to move between this hotel and our next one on checkout day. We’re Titanium, but know those perks aren’t guaranteed at a resort, so thank you.

The service was awful. Staff were unwelcoming at the front desk and seemed unable to handle guest requests politely. As a Marriott member, I’d choose the Westin or avoid this place. They wouldn’t accommodate most requests if you don’t speak French, and I found the whole experience extremely upsetting. They’ll even lie to avoid helping with simple requests. Don’t waste your money or time.”

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is great. Our room was spacious and cozy, though dated. Breakfast was good too. The hot tub was nice, but the area got icy and felt dangerous. There weren’t enough covered hooks or room for towels, clothes, and shoes, and one tub had a broken jet. Parking was a nightmare with our large car and roof mounted ski rack. There weren’t enough spaces for vehicles that size, and we worried about leaving for the store or village in case we couldn’t find a spot when we got back. There also aren’t enough indoor ski and snowboard racks for the number of families the hotel can hold. Outdoor racks are available, but don’t use them when it’s freezing, because the hotel charges $50 if your gear gets stuck. It was frustrating to go floor to floor looking for space. They should add more indoor racks.
