Aloft by Marriott Montreal Airport

The staff were great, and the hotel is close to the airport. The shuttle comes every 30 minutes. I found the bed so comfortable I didn't want to leave. Ordering food was a little confusing. I had to order at the bar, then sit at my table while they brought it over. It took longer than I expected, though the food was good.

The shuttle for 4:30 AM still hadn't shown up by 5:15, leaving a lot of guests waiting. I ended up taking an Uber so I wouldn't miss my flight. I stayed at Aloft Montreal Airport during a connection and the whole visit was frustrating. The driver said the hotel was just a few minutes away, but with an extra stop the trip took almost half an hour. At the front desk I was told to wait, then left there while the person disappeared. Check-in took about 25 minutes late at night. My room was extremely cold. Staff said it would get better when I reported it, but it didn't. Around 12:45 AM the air conditioner started loudly, waking me up. I reported that too, but was told there were no other rooms, so it was hard to sleep before my early flight. It was stressful and poorly managed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you need a good night's sleep, a smooth airport stay, reliable shuttle service, or good customer service.

I had a gated parking area, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location worked well for both Park ‘n’ Fly and the airport. From my room I enjoyed watching planes take off.

The team were welcoming and friendly, and the room was very clean. This is an average airport hotel: the rooms are a good size, though a bit rundown. A complimentary airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes, day and night. The bar stays open until midnight, but the kitchen closes earlier. There's also a 24/7 shop on site with wraps and sandwiches you can heat up, plus prepared salads and fresh fruit.
