Key Motel

The place is peaceful and really nice, and the pool is great for relaxing. The people who stayed next to me for four nights seemed pleasant. They ordered food every day, even around 11 at night, and spent time in the pool daily. But the owner showed me their reviews, and I was shocked. Apparently they wanted all their money back and said they'd post those reviews otherwise. There's nothing bad about this place.

They even made me a fully gluten-free pizza and kept it safe from cross-contamination to accommodate my allergy. It's a nice place for families, with a heated pool and good food at the restaurants.

The rooms smelled musty or strongly of Indian food, and the cooking smell filled the whole motel since the restaurant has no ventilation. The sheets and towels were stained, and there were leaves inside the room. I also found blood splattered on the wall, hair and garbage left around, and the sheets hadn't been changed. The toilet wouldn't flush and the fridge didn't work. Outside, the back has nice scenery for barbecuing, but the barbecues don't even close, and there's filth and garbage around the fire pit. This place is unsanitary, dirty, smelly, and extremely unsafe. It should be shut down as soon as possible.

The sunrise was lovely, and the back side has really good views. Service was good too. Dave's Eatz, their restaurant, is good as well.
