I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels, and this is easily the best. The rooms were roomy and thoughtfully laid out, with useful touches like lots of hooks and dimmable lights. The furniture felt solid too, and the bunk bed didn’t squeak much. There’s a bar in the dining room if you want to socialize, plus a quiet coworking space if you’d rather be alone. The amount of space and facilities felt well balanced, and it never seemed too crowded. As in most hostels, the staff were helpful and nice.

For an affordable place to stay in Montreal, this hostel is a good option. The rooms are pretty standard, but the prices are low. Breakfast is complimentary each morning, there are plenty of daily activities, and during my stays they had some gluten-free options. They were also understanding and accommodating around flight arrival times. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a budget stay while exploring the city or doing business there.

The location is fantastic, close to the city center but still quiet. I recently spent a week at Auberge Saintlo. The room was tidy and cozy, and breakfast was amazing. I can only recommend it!

I’d stayed at another Saintlo before and had a great time, and this location lived up to that experience. It’s a cute, thoughtful place, with clean rooms and fresh towels and linens. Breakfast is free and includes local bagels, fruit, cereal, and coffee. The staff were lovely and helpful, and there are lots of perks. Love Saintlo!

The staff were lovely, the rooms clean, and the location central, right near Lucien-L’Allier station and an easy walk from downtown. I left something behind after leaving the city, so I emailed the team. They were super helpful figuring out how to get it back. I sent them a shipping label, and before I could even arrange a Canada Post pickup, someone had packed it up and dropped it off for me. Looking forward to getting it back, and thanks for the stellar service!
