The mansion was a 10/10 for our group, and the management team stayed reachable by text after getting us settled. We had high expectations, but the place exceeded them. The roof had been redone and featured a huge, high quality BBQ, with views in every direction. It's near the best parts of the pier and an easy walk from downtown Montreal. The kitchens and furniture were all high quality, and nearly every bedroom had an amazing private bathroom. One standout was the room by the indoor pool and hot tub, with a shower room built into a huge rock and fitted with several shower heads. David helped us organize guests before arrival and put us in touch with John, their chef, to ask questions. Stephanie greeted us at check-in and showed us around. They were both helpful, and she and the rest of the team were professional and nice. We'd return and definitely recommend it. Thanks, David and Stephanie, for making the trip.

We stayed this past weekend. A few things: there's no parking spot, and you can't park on the street either. The basement WiFi didn't work at all, so we couldn't play PS4, and there was no TV in the family room. The balcony was locked for the winter, though they could have cleaned it when the place makes that much money. The pool was cold, and after they added more water it took half a day to warm up. They had every spice except salt and pepper.

The place looked beautiful when I toured it, but the management was so poor that I wouldn't recommend booking there. I found different workers gave me conflicting information by phone and email, and nobody seemed to communicate with each other. The person emailing me was abrupt and rude and didn't sound like they wanted me to stay. I cancelled and booked somewhere else. They didn't acknowledge the cancellation, which made it seem like they hoped people would cancel so they could keep the money. I suggest the Holland Hotel for large spaces. I lost the $1,300 I paid for one night, though I know cancelling so late was my fault. I should have researched the bad reviews beforehand; it would have saved me grief and money. The online listing never said that amount covered only eight people, that everyone had to be at least 25, or that there was an 11 pm curfew. My party was meant to have 12 people, and I only learned about the eight person limit after checking reviews here and asking about extra guests. Otherwise, they might have tried charging me more afterward. The booking site also didn't mention the age rule, and I'm 24, although all my guests were older.

We had everything we needed in the roomy Castle Suite, and it was worth every penny. Cassandra & Stephanie deserve a special thanks for making the stay memorable. The staff service was impeccable, and we'd definitely come back.

The room was really big and clean, and the staff were friendly and kept trying to make the stay memorable. The castle is in a great spot, less than a five minute walk from everything. It's perfect for exploring Montreal, and we'd definitely stay again. Loved it!
