Cjour

For five days, the room was clean and had all the amenities. The shower was lovely, my favorite of any hotel I've stayed in. Staff were also lovely, easy to contact, and always ready to help during my stay. Cjour is a short walk from Frontenac subway station, and it really completed my visit to Canada. For the price, it's the best out there, and I'll book here again if I return.

The flat was spotless, the price was great, and the location worked well. I slept comfortably, even though the bed sat very low. Most things were low to the ground, including the toilet, which felt toddler-height and awkward for anyone over four feet tall. The couch was low too. The kitchen had dishes and cutlery, but every knife was dangerously dull. The elevator was painfully slow, and the street parking was hard to manage with construction that never seemed to be underway. Also, the blanket smelled so strongly of fabric softener that it set off my asthma and left me congested for our whole stay.

Check-in was easy and I liked the kitchen, but the bed was a real letdown. It was one of those low fold-out Murphy-style mattresses, and sleeping on it felt like crashing on the floor at a friend's place.

Getting around was easy, and the room had the kind of facilities that made it feel like home. Communication with the building owner was simple too, and they were available around the clock. Everything was 100+.
