After a bit of a scare at check-in, we had a fantastic stay. At first, we were told that the room we'd booked had been given away because we hadn't checked in that day. It turned out to be a miscommunication. From then on, everything went smoothly. Whenever we asked for something, we pretty much got it. Every receptionist we spoke with was polite, professional, and a real pleasure to talk to. I'd definitely recommend the place and will come back on our next trip if we can.

My favourite hotel in Montreal by far, whatever the price. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the location, between Griffentown and Old Port with downtown close by, couldn't be better. Paying a little extra for a corner room is definitely worth it. Great value for the money.

We chose Griffintown Hotel again after staying there once before. The condos are beautiful and suit our needs perfectly. They're dog friendly, have amazing views, and the staff are both friendly and professional. There's a parking garage if you need one. The neighbourhood has a great feel, industrial-turned-artsy, with lots of parks and great restaurants within walking distance. We'd stay there again.

I've stayed here a couple of times and plan to come back. The condos are modern, well appointed, very clean, and quiet, and the stay feels a bit like being at home. It's better than a high-end luxury brand hotel chain. There isn't a hot tub or rooftop patio, but you can have groceries delivered, walk along the canal, and explore Griffintown and downtown Montreal.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and spacious, and we really appreciated having a full kitchen and laundry in the suite. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet, and it's a fairly short walk to the Vieux Port, which we enjoyed. Getting elsewhere in the city was harder without a car, though, since the nearest Metro station is about a 25-minute walk. For more than $1000 CAD for four nights, we expected better comfort and attention to detail. The place didn't seem fully set up for two people: it came with just two towels and two espresso cups, and was missing extra pillows, a couch blanket, and an oven pan. The pillows provided were uncomfortable, and the mattress wasn't great either. The smart TVs seemed like a nice extra, but they need your own streaming login. As international visitors, we couldn't access our accounts because of regional restrictions, so the TVs weren't much use to us. The balcony had a lovely view but no furniture, and a lamp in the living room would have made evenings more comfortable and functional. The staff member at check-in also didn't seem very professional or welcoming, which was a disappointing start. There's plenty of potential here, but the little oversights and lack of polish added up. At that price, we expected a more thoughtful, guest-ready place.
