Hotel Les Suites Labelle

The area around the hotel made us feel unsafe, with a lot of shady people and beggars, and there were police and an ambulance at BERRI metro station every day. At least the hotel is close to old town and downtown, just a few minutes by bus or from the nearby metro. The staff were friendly, but the building feels like the 1980s and needs updating. The hallways smelled old, and the room windows were old and very hard to open. The TV had old reruns packed with commercials, with no CBC, CNN, BBC, MTV, or international channels. The pillows weren't comfortable either. Breakfast was very basic, mostly white-flour items. There was no organic food, and nothing for people with lactose issues or allergies. They should offer more fresh vegetables and fruit.

Breakfast was laid out smoothly, with plenty of seating and no scramble to collect food. The spread had cereal, croissants, bread, cheese, butter, eggs, milk, yogurt, cold cuts, sliced cheese, fruit, juice, coffee, and more. The room was clean and well kept, and the hotel is a great deal right downtown, near uqam metro station and within walking distance of streets like st Dennis with lots of food options. My only wish is that the TV let me cast from my phone.

The staff were attentive and helpful, and the hotel is right next to a Metro stop. For a reasonable price, we got a spacious two-bedroom room with a kitchenette.

We had a reservation mix-up at another place and ended up checking in here at the last minute on Feb 20. Sébastien was so helpful that I booked another stay for our return through Montreal a week later. Thanks, Sébastien, keep up the good work!
