The view was magnificent, and there are too many good things to list: concrete ceilings and floors, a beautiful shower, a small faux fireplace on the TV when we arrived, and a washer and dryer right in the suite. The high-end fridge and stove blend into the modern cabinets, and the place was clean. Soundproofing wasn’t perfect, but we didn’t have noisy neighbors. The blinds are semi-opaque, so bring eyeshades if you have trouble falling asleep. One annoyance: we found two or three dirty glasses in the cabinet, out of four, as if they were clean. One or two had greasy lip marks on the rim, and another had a lot of standing water inside. Housekeeping should be more careful, especially if guests put their dirty glasses back. Beautiful experience, and it was only our first day.

Parking isn’t included in the Airbnb and costs extra. Other than that, the loft was comfortable, very nice, and well equipped. It was clean and well organized, with a good location and a relaxing space. It made for a very pleasant stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The price was outrageous for what we got, and the service was poor from the start: they assigned me the wrong apartment, which caused problems right away. When I finally got into the correct one, it was unclean and had only lukewarm water, so showers were very uncomfortable. That’s unacceptable at this price. The soundproofing is nonexistent. Street noise from trucks, cars, and people kept disturbing us, and music from the restaurant below could be heard even upstairs. We could also hear everything the neighbors were doing, so there was no real privacy. The curtains aren’t opaque either, so forget sleeping in. The sun comes up at 5:15 AM and will wake you. I’m extremely disappointed and strongly advise against this place. There are much better options for less money and with far more acceptable living conditions. Avoid at all costs.

We stayed three nights in one of the lofts with our 3 years old, but it wasn’t really a loft, just a 2bd apartment. Be aware that the host seems to look for ways to charge you extra through Airbnb, and expects you to mop floors, make beds, and probably wash and spread the bedding. I deal with hyperglycemia from stressful work and get stress headaches, and we really needed a smooth, relaxing weekend. We didn’t report the problems because we didn’t want to spend our Thanksgiving Holiday on the phone with Airbnb. The floor was so dirty we couldn’t walk barefoot, but there was no cleaning agent or mop, so we wore socks and changed them every couple of hours. The dishes were dirty and dusty, like they hadn’t been used in months. Many were chipped and a health hazard. The instructions were vague, and we couldn’t find the garbage room, so we left the garbage with a usd20 beside the door. Our 3yrs old smashed two small grapes on the floor, which we cleaned with napkins. There was no cleaning agent, mop, or paper towel. Then the host charged us $163 for cleaning an unknown sticky agent that supposedly required special acid cleaning of the floor. How absurd and unprofessional. The iron on site was broken and caused me to cut my hand. We didn’t run to Airbnb asking for money, though I probably should have. What if our child had cut his hand?
