Maison Sainte-Thérèse

Being in the middle of Old Montreal in December made the stay feel special, especially since it’s our favourite neighbourhood. We could walk to The Cold Room and Bisous Bisous, two of our favourite bars there, so the location was just right for us. We stayed in the suite directly above Bisous Bisous. The hotel mentions there may be evening noise in that room, but it didn’t bother us. The suite was compact but stylish, with a fridge, freezer, microwave, espresso machine, cooktop and dishes. You could make pretty much any meal there if you’re trying to save money in Montreal. We had an incredible weekend and can’t say enough good things about the hotel.

A cozy apartment-style place at a decent price, right where you want to be for the old city. Getting in was easy, and there’s a working kitchenette plus laundry machines.

Self check-in was an interesting setup. The place was clean and comfortable, with nice attention to detail, and it’s right in the heart of the old town. Lovely stay!

We really appreciated how welcoming and attentive the staff were, whether we were checking in, asking for tips or just crossing paths. The rooms were clean and elegant, and ours felt both modern and cozy. High ceilings, big windows with lots of daylight, tasteful décor, crisp linens and a very comfortable bed. Even the spotless bathroom felt like a little spa. Maison Sainte-Thérèse is right in the heart of Old Montreal. We could walk to the cobblestone streets, Old Port, restaurants, galleries and boutiques. The whole stay felt like a little refuge in the middle of the city, with historic charm alongside modern comforts. Room service would have been a nice extra, though it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Since there are so many cafés and restaurants just steps away, finding something good to eat was easy. Everything came together beautifully, and we’d happily return or recommend it for a boutique stay in Old Montreal.
