The kids were thrilled with the pool and the breakfast waffles, and I really liked the little library and hot drink station. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the staff were friendly and flexible. They even let us check in early while my vehicle was being repaired. A few small annoyances: no Food Network on the TV, and I’m not a fan of rain shower heads. The teenager also brought their moodiness along, which obviously wasn’t the hotel’s fault. None of that would put me off staying again.

We slept well, and I was glad our room had a fridge and microwave, since those aren’t always provided. The place was very clean, and the staff were especially kind and accommodating while we were there for a tournament. The in-room coffee wasn’t great, though that’s pretty typical for a hotel. We had a great stay.

Yashvi gave us particularly great service, and everyone else was friendly and accommodating too. We enjoyed the good breakfast, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pool and waterslide were well looked after. The hot tub was properly hot, which I appreciated. We’ll stay here again next time we’re in MJ.

The pet policy is my one concern. I was told this location welcomes dogs but not cats, and I hope the owners reconsider that for cat families. Cats can be family members or service and emotional support animals too. Responsible owners get them neutered or spayed and litter trained, and cats are often quiet and well behaved. I find the distinction odd, especially since dogs can bring in dirt, smells, and parasites, and may be louder. As for my stay, the room was clean and relaxing, and the hotel was comfortable. DV or Divy got me checked in quickly while I was driving across the country. He was personable, kind, and accommodating. The hot breakfast was convenient, and I’d recommend staying here. I was very satisfied overall.

The staff at check-in were friendly, but that was the only good part of my stay. I paid $200 for a night and couldn’t sleep because children were running and talking loudly in the hall. It was still going on at 11:25 PM, after starting around 8:00 PM. I understand quiet hours officially begin at 10, but there should still be reasonable attention to yelling, running, and excessive noise in the halls, especially when guests have small children. Mine goes to bed at 8. I called the desk around 9:30 and was told someone would check, but nothing improved. This is the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Hearing “Best Western Plus” is going to bring this back to mind. Yikes.
