Creekside Suites @ Pacific Shores

We stayed for three nights, and the only thing I missed was air conditioning in the room. The on-site restaurant was good, the pool area was nice, and the weight room had everything I needed. The outdoor hot tub and kids' pool were excellent, and there was a fridge in the room. A great spot for a short holiday.

The grounds are lovely and the views are beautiful, and we’d still come back. The bed was comfortable and the rooms quite nice, but the TVs are small. There’s no Kleenex or AC, and room service only comes every three days, which felt a bit odd. You also have to buy coffee for the in-room maker, so bring your own Keurig's.

The clean, modern rooms and the very nice woman who checked us in initially gave me high hopes. But the air circulation was awful. When we called for help, the manager lectured my wife, saying it was a heat wave and to get over it. They didn’t offer fans or anything else, so I bought two for $175. After someone noticed, I was given $50 at the restaurant. That was good, but not great. I don’t think the place is worth what it costs.

The live-in suites are incredible, and I never wanted to leave. From the room, you get a nice view on the walk to the point. The hot tub is amazing, and the pool and bar are a lot of fun. The gym isn't amazing, though. Everything stays open late.
