We booked two nights, including our wedding night, and had a poor experience. The staff were rude and dismissive, though one friendly and responsive staff member at checkout recognized that the dirty room and rude treatment were unacceptable. She gave us the manager's card and said she'd follow up to make sure we received some sort of refund. That never happened, and the manager didn't reply to my email. We won't stay here again. The bathtub and shower were moldy, and the carpet and balcony were dirty, with Cheerios scattered on both. The towels were stained and looked dirty, so we didn't use them. There were no towels at the pool, so my husband and I had to walk back to our room soaking wet. We passed the front desk dripping, and the staff ignored us. After the resort replied, I want to clarify that the room was already messy and dirty when we arrived. We didn't bring or eat Cheerios, they were there beforehand. The bathroom was moldy and dirty before our stay, and the towels they gave us were stained. It seems the rooms may not be cleaned between guests, either.

We booked this as a relaxing stop between trips, so we mostly wanted to chill. Our first room hadn't been cleaned properly, which was disappointing when we were exhausted, but staff moved us to another room quickly, and we appreciated that. The TVs were also quite outdated and couldn't handle streaming services like Netflix. It wasn't a terrible stay, but for the price, we felt an Airbnb might have been better value.

The view was nice, and our server was good, but we won't be back. We gave the restaurant another try even though we'd had bad experiences before, because family staying here wanted to eat there. My wife got the seafood chowder, which was mostly potatoes with barely any seafood. There was also a small piece of plastic in it, about the size of a little candy. They took the chowder off the bill, but my wife was done eating after that. I ordered the cosmic burger. At $26, the fries should've been hot and fresh, but mine were lukewarm, dried out, and tasted like they'd sat under a heat lamp for a while. The food wasn't our server's fault.

The outdoor hot tub by the ocean and the walkway down to the water with a BBQ were great. I took a star off for the room's condition, though. The freezer was iced up, the dresser tops were peeling, and the area around the TV still needed finishing. They're small things, but together they added up to a missing star.

The grounds and rooms are great, though they're owned by other people and rented out through Airbnb and similar services. The outdoor hot tub was amazing too. Restaurant and bar service was slow and limited, and the staff were young.
