The staff are so nice and approachable, and the cabin turned out to be a peaceful, solid place to stay. At first it seemed a bit rustic and dated, but I got comfortable there and found the basics more than adequate, with plenty of plates and cutlery, a full-size fridge, and coffee creamers that weren't skimpy like at some other places in town. It's private but centrally located, and felt like a home away from home. I'd recommend it anytime. Bring a fan for hot days.

I spent 10 days at the lodge in a cabin and loved it. It works well for a vacation or for work, with enough room to set up an office. Every room has a full kitchen with an oven. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I enjoyed chatting with them during my breaks.

The room was a small, dated kitchenette, though it smelled clean and I didn't see any bed bugs during my visit. The staff were friendly, and fishing trips are offered. But the price felt completely out of proportion, like accommodation prices all over this town. Be ready to pay so much that you'll be standing there with your mouth open wondering why.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there are several BBQs, picnic tables, and a campfire spot outside. It's also close to fishing areas and hiking trails, including one that starts just behind the lodge. The clean, modest junior suites have comfortable beds and kitchenettes with a stove, microwave, fridge, and coffee machine. Deluxe cabins have a bigger kitchen with the same appliances, a larger bathroom, a spacious bedroom with two beds, and a couch. A good option for fishing trips.

The staff make you feel so welcome, like you're at home. If you're ever in Kitimat, I'd highly recommend seeking this place out. They also offer amazing guided fishing tours. The staff are amazing. Thank you ladies so much.
