We loved our stay at Riverview. The room was spotless, as were the breakfast room and other shared spaces, and our upstairs Burgundy room had plenty of space and a very comfortable mattress and bedding. It also gave us easy access to the lovely porch overlooking the river and the handy hallway refrigerator. Mornings were a treat, with a nicely cooked breakfast and attentive service. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout. Riverview is also well placed for trails, parks and boat cruises, with Gananoque and its excellent restaurants just a quick drive away. We enjoyed every moment.

We had a great four-day stay in the Champagne suite. It’s peaceful outside town, yet Gan is only a six-minute drive for groceries or a meal out. The suite has an essential kitchen, lots of room, nice furniture and a private balcony overlooking the river. There’s also a communal BBQ, seating and a rooftop picnic area. The location is fantastic, and the hosts were wonderful and eager to make us happy.

We liked the big family suite and the good breakfast, which was $7 per person, enough to book another stay on our way back, this time in the Champagne suite. The large house is well kept, and some rooms have river views from their balconies. There’s also a rooftop terrace, where the sunrises are worth catching. The hosts live there, and the lady was friendly and easy to chat with.

We had the Champagne room, a gorgeous space with a jet tub and little fireplace. They supplied extra bath towels and wine glasses, too. Breakfast is all you can eat for 7$, with eggs cooked how you like, pancakes, cereal, fruit, bread, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The B&B terrace has a lovely view. It’s a 15-minute walk, or a one-minute drive, to the national park. I’d walk, since parking there costs extra. The town is seven minutes by car, with nice restaurants, a view and a playhouse we enjoyed. Staff were helpful and kind. When our cruise was delayed, they let us check out a little later because the room wasn’t rented for the next day. Highly recommend this B&B.

We had a lovely breakfast and a beautiful room. There was a mix-up with our booking, but the owners were very accommodating. Try the pancakes if you can. The lady of the house is a real gem!
