Hampton Inn By Hilton Napanee

The staff noticed smoke coming from the ground by our car while my husband was fetching our bags. A peat fire had started in the garden. Three young women immediately grabbed two big buckets each and kept carrying water over to the garden. They managed to keep it under control and stop it spreading until the fire department arrived. They went well beyond what their jobs required. We chatted with them off and on for the rest of our stay, and by checkout we both felt we’d made friends for life. What began as a disappointing day turned into a lovely, memorable experience. My husband and I had driven three hours to visit Sand Banks, only to be turned away because we didn’t know a pass had to be booked ahead. We reached Hampton Inn by Hilton Napanee shortly after noon, about four hours before check-in. We had a reservation, but the rooms were still being cleaned. Britney got us into a room right away. It was bright, beautiful, and extremely clean, as was the whole hotel. The pool was clean and warm, and breakfast was fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about our stay.

I called about booking several rooms for a wedding in town, but the person who answered, I think her name was Tysten, was rude and impatient. She had to put me on hold several times because she didn’t seem to know what was going on. After that call, I booked elsewhere. I won’t support a business that talks to customers like that.

The room was quiet and comfortable, with everything I needed to relax. I loved the fresh, modern decor, and the whole place felt bright and welcoming. The remodeling is impressive, the rooms look completely transformed, and everything seemed brand new and spotless. You can tell care went into the details. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay at the newly remodeled Hampton Hotel in Napanee. I’ll be back and recommend it if you’re in the area.

We showed up with only a few bags after an accident, and they were so helpful and accommodating. Thanks for caring!
