We had a really lovely stay. It feels like a period house, but without that run-down, old-building feel, and it works well for couples or families. The owners were so warm, and the breakfasts were excellent. Everything was very, very clean. The rooms were hot, though; air conditioning is supposed to be installed soon. I highly recommend it :)

The inn itself has a beautiful café, with excellent local coffee and good-quality products. Breakfast is homemade and excellent, too. We got a perfect welcome in a lovely, peaceful village, in a magnificent house. A great place for a night or a simple little gourmet break.

The historic decor gives the inn a lot of charm, and we especially liked the local touches, from the coffee and soaps to the little sheriff-star-shaped chocolates. It was clean, the welcome was warm, and the service was impeccable. We'd definitely come back when we're in the area.

The common spaces inside and out were comfortable, and our room was very clean. The owner was welcoming, and we could use the kitchen to make dinner. The house has an original, retro look, almost Western in style. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, and although Route 132 is nearby, it wasn't close enough to disturb our sleep.

There are four double rooms, a shared bathroom, and a very good breakfast at this comfortable, quirky B&B. The former Sheriff of New Carlisle's house has been restored and presented beautifully by an owner who clearly cares about it. Parking is off the road at the rear, reached via Sheppard Street.
