We’ve stayed at the Valhalla Inn many times over the years and have always enjoyed it, so we’ll be back. The rooms are very basic, but the beds are comfortable and there are pet-friendly rooms, plus things like a TV and fridge. The owners and staff are really friendly and make an effort to get to know their guests. We ate breakfast at the restaurant each day. The menu isn’t huge, but there’s a nice range of familiar breakfast choices. We had Chinese food for dinner once. It was good, with nice flavours, though not fantastic.

I keep coming back to this old hotel. It’s got a quirky feel and the rooms are spacious, though it’s definitely not modern. The one thing I miss is AC, but there are fans in every room.

We came in for lunch and had amazing food, with a perfect host. It’s a beautiful spot, and now we might come back, stay awhile and enjoy the town.

Serena at the front desk was so helpful, and the rooms were spotless with comfortable beds. Our bike group booked four rooms, and we’d expected less because the place looks older. The walkway from the rooms up to the pub was a nice extra, and the food there was good. We also tried the chocolate dessert Serena made herself. Delicious. We had a great experience and will be back.

We had such a lovely stay at this adorable inn. Our room was fresh and super clean, and since it was our anniversary, they left us some sweet little treats that made us feel special. Sabrina was really helpful with recommendations for the area. The family running the place is hardworking and friendly, and the food was tasty and well made. We’ll definitely come back to visit this amazing inn.
