The view and cozy room were the best parts of my stay on January 28th, 2026. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very quiet, and I’d recommend The Quay for a night or two in New West for the location and view alone. The restaurant beside the lobby was another plus, with a nice atmosphere and tasty food. Service took ages, though, so we ended up drinking more than we should, lol. My only real gripe was that the night agent wasn’t very friendly when a friend came to visit. It wasn’t a big deal.

I ended up staying here unexpectedly and had a fantastic time. The staff were lovely and super attentive, and even this fussy guest found the room very clean. It’s a great spot if you want to spend time by the waterfront and downtown.

We had a great balcony view, and the room was spotless when we arrived. The beds were comfortable, the food was amazing, and everyone we met, from the front desk and housekeeping to the restaurant wait staff, was warm and wonderful. My one first-world complaint is that there weren’t enough outlets for all our electronics. We’ll bring a power strip next time, because we’ll definitely be back!

We celebrated my achievement as the Natural Champion of Canada 2025 (Bodybuilding Bikini Athlete) during our stay, and the room worked really well for getting ready. It was clean and comfortable, with a spacious washroom and a lovely full-length mirror. The atmosphere felt relaxing and elegant, and the staff were kind and attentive. We also enjoyed the restaurant’s delicious meals, and everything was well organized. We did have to pay 50$ for early check-in after arriving in Vancouver early. Still, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend the place! 🌟

The room was good and the location worked well. The view was beautiful, and everything else was fine. What I didn’t like was having to pass through the garbage area to reach the train station. It’s also the only way to get to the waterfront and cross the bridge to go elsewhere. That area didn’t feel great for tourists.
