I got the refund from the hotel a few weeks later, after an Expedia representative called them. This happened in 2022. I mention that I'm black because I've paid for hotel rooms in advance through Expedia before and this has never happened, either before or since. My family and I were left to decide whether the reception staff simply couldn't check their system for Expedia bookings, or saw a black person and assumed I was trying to scam them. They had rooms available through Expedia, so it seemed they could have checked the booking. Either way, the experience was awful. I had booked and paid weeks ahead, but at reception they said I had to pay again and contact Expedia to get my first payment back. I paid a second time, then called Expedia to explain. Their representative was kind, apologized even though Expedia wasn't at fault, and called the hotel. I later got the refund from the hotel.

The furniture could use an update, though it was still comfortable. I stayed at OYO Hotel for a week on my own and had a generally good visit. The location made it easy to get around and reach local attractions, and the room was clean with the basic amenities I needed. Staff were helpful and friendly when I had questions or requests, and both check-in and check-out went smoothly. It was affordable, and I'd consider staying again.

OYO Hotel was quiet and peaceful, so I could relax and sleep well. My room was clean, comfortable, and looked well maintained, with a cozy bed, clean towels, fresh linens, and reliable Wi-Fi. The staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help. Check-in was quick and easy after a long journey. Shops, restaurants, and public transport were close by, and for the price it felt like good value. I was very satisfied and would recommend it as a clean, comfortable budget stay. I'll book again on my next trip. Thank you.

The place was dirty and smelled smoky, with old furniture and bed bugs. Check the room before you book and register. The bites were painful and itchy, and, like me, you may have to see a doctor and pay for a prescription.

It's right on Clifton Hill, about a five-minute walk from the falls, with restaurants and activities nearby. The SkyWheel view was fantastic. My room was good and had the essentials, including A/C, a smart TV, fridge, and microwave. There's a huge parking area, it's pet-friendly, and the motel is open 24 hours, which was convenient. Staff were friendly and prices reasonable. A comfortable stay for the cost, and I'd recommend it.
