Lion's Head Bed & Breakfast

The location worked well for the tourist areas covered by the parks pass, and the bus stop was only a couple of blocks away. My fiancée and I really liked our stay, especially the breakfast and the host. The room was solid, the bed comfortable, and it had the basics like towels and body wash.

Helena made planning easy when I called ahead about reservations. She told me not to arrange anything in advance and that she'd guide us once we arrived, which she did. The house is a lovely place to stay, about a 20-minute walk from the falls, with a peaceful setting despite being nearby. Helena is a gracious host and wonderful cook, and breakfast each morning was a treat. We also enjoyed the lively, informative conversations over the meal. Our Gauguin room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a spacious, very clean Italian-tiled bathroom. We'd recommend it and would stay again if we return.

We loved the lovely Van Gogh room and Helena, our wonderful host. The house was beautiful, charming, and full of character and love. Breakfast was great, the place spotlessly clean, and the location good. We just got back from an amazing trip to Niagara.

The house is a beautifully preserved historic gem, decorated with real care, and staying there felt like stepping back in time. It's close to the main attractions but far enough from the tourist bustle to be peaceful. Helena was warm and welcoming, with lots of helpful tips about our trip. We loved the delicious breakfasts, prepared with care. This was the highlight of our vacation, and I'd be delighted to return. A rare treasure and a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
