Motel 6 Niagara Falls, ON – Near the Falls

We booked online, but at check-in they asked for double the amount as a security deposit for each room. When we tried to pay, they wouldn’t accept Apple Wallet and demanded a physical card. The receptionist was rude, and a staff member sitting near reception behaved badly toward us for no reason. After all that, we didn’t stay. Some time later the receptionist called to say we could come back and tap to pay, but we didn’t feel the place was safe and didn’t return. It was a very bad experience, and I can’t recommend it. The environment didn’t feel safe.

I drove from Alberta to Niagara Falls last week and booked Motel 6 because they welcome pets. My dog Rommie and I both found it comfortable and relaxing. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the motel and rooms were very clean. Every staff member I met was pleasant and friendly. They made my visit a really good one, and I hope to stay again on my next trip. Thanks to the Motel 6 staff.

It’s a little dated, but it worked well as a place to sleep. The rooms were clean and everyone was nice. I could hear the neighbors through the thin walls, though it wasn’t anything too bad.

There was a centipede in the shower, and the hot water kept switching from cold to hot while I was washing. The stairway roof leaked, leaving the stairs slippery. At the desk there weren’t enough USB outlets, and I had to unplug the fridge to use the microwave. The whole building needs paint and upgrades.
