Rainbow Motor Inn - By the Falls

The room was pretty and had what we needed for a short visit. Check-in was quick, and the place was nice and clean. There's an ice machine and microwave outside the room, but they're still available to use. The pool is small and cute, enough to cool off in on a hot day. It's about a 20-minute walk to Clifton hill and the Falls, and we were happy with our stay.

Fast check-in and a reasonable price. The location is handy, within walking distance of fallsview hotel and other establishments. Housekeeping was nice and accommodating. His name is Dustin, and they call him Dee. I'd definitely come back.

This motel was a terrible start to our vacation. Half our party arrived before the person whose name was on the room, and when we said he’d be there in ten minutes, they canceled the reservation. They refused to book us another room or return the $700 we’d paid. When we left, two employees got in my friend’s face, yelling, screaming, and calling him names like “crackhead.” He’s a drug-free veteran. Both employees smelled strongly of hard liquor and were unbelievably rude and disrespectful. It’s supposedly animal-friendly, but the nearest grass for a dog to pee on is across a busy parking lot and street. People in the area also told me to avoid this place if possible. We ended up at the motel 6, which was the best decision, and they’re pet-friendly too. I don’t recommend this motel if you want to enjoy your vacation.

I had to stay for three days because they wouldn't refund me, and nobody came to clean the room during that time. The bathroom was dirty, the furniture looked dusty, the comforters felt rough, and the rug had odd stains. Parking also cost extra, which I thought was outrageous. The location is convenient, but there are many better places to stay. I definitely do not recommend it.
