Niagara Falls Courtside Inn

I was charged a $200 deposit, and it still hadn’t been credited to my account in a week. Agoda told me it could take a month, while the hotel had said 3-5 business days. Neither seemed to know what was happening. For under $200, you could book a Marriott, so why choose this cheap property? The place was outdated and poorly kept, with dirty rooms, old furniture, and facilities in bad condition. It felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Staff were terrible, unprofessional, unhelpful, and inflexible when problems came up. It was one of the worst stays I’ve had, and I strongly don’t recommend it. A waste of money when much better options are nearby.

I wondered if there was an option for no stars. The employee working there gave me awful service. He was talking with another coworker and using abusive language. When I asked for his name and for the manager, he said he wasn’t free for me. I was there for only 15 minutes before leaving and asked for a refund. I spoke with the manager, who said she would check the camera footage, but I got no clear answer or follow-up. She defended him instead of addressing how he treated a customer. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful.

The bathroom walls had blood on them, the ceiling was falling in, and there were cigarette holes in the blankets and holes in the walls. The towels smelled mildew-y, and the place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since 1982. I’ve never stayed anywhere more disgusting. When we raised it with the front desk, they said they knew it was gross and told us to speak with the manager. She hung up when I tried. She also had a full-on argument with another guest during my check-in. Terrible customer service.

Staff were unprofessional, unhelpful, and showed no flexibility in dealing with issues. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve had, and a waste of money with better options nearby. I strongly don’t recommend staying here.
