The best part for us was being right beside the Niagara River and bike path, which worked out perfectly for our rides. It's a small campground with few amenities, but enough for what we needed. Since it was off season, we weren't expecting many extras and didn't get them. The staff were friendly and helpful. My concern was dead branches falling from the trees. A couple of big ones came down close to us while we were sitting by the firepit. They need to deal with that before someone gets hurt or property is damaged.
The setting is ideal, with mature trees, lovely grounds, and a view of the Niagara River. We had full hookups, and there's a bike trail right out front that gets you close to the falls. The pool was nice, and the location was quiet and reasonably priced. I'd come back 100%. If I didn't live so far away, I'd camp here for the season.
The location is amazing, and the pool was great. We did laundry and were happy with the machines, and the bathrooms were fine. Our breaker tripped a lot during a couple of hot days, so we had to keep an eye on how much power we used. The online description made it sound like there was more here, since the arcade room didn't exist, but the price was great by comparison. I'd come again.
The quiet atmosphere was a big reason I'd recommend this campground. We were tent camping for a long weekend, and the ground was perfect for a tent. The washroom block stayed very clean, and everyone was respectful. There are lots of birds singing in the morning, which is lovely, though you'll want earplugs if you don't want to wake with the sun. It's about 15 minutes from the falls without traffic. It may look farther away than other campgrounds nearby, but it has a calm feel you wouldn't get at a family campground. One of our best camping trips.
We picked this campground because it's very close to Niagara Falls. We stayed two nights, and the grounds were clean and tidy. The washrooms and showers were clean too, but they need renovation and better water pressure. The sites are small, so there's not much privacy.
