627 On King Bed and Breakfast

We had a lovely private stay in September, with a gorgeous backyard and a comfy bed. Juices, coffee, yogurt, and fruit were already in the room. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and we could eat it right there. We rented bikes, and the ride to the “main strip” was nice and easy. Walking might feel a little far, but it's really not an issue if you don't mind the walk. The neighborhood felt safe. I think it was good value, and I'd come back.

Wanda and Kacper made me feel completely at home and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had what I needed. They greeted me right away, arranged a special breakfast time, and made sure I had food before my early flight. I can't recommend them enough. They're within walking distance of the NOTL historical district, and a short drive from plenty of restaurants, shops, and wineries.

Breakfast came to our room in generous portions. Both the really fluffy pancakes and the omelette were delicious. We stayed in November, a quieter time in NOTL, and Wanda greeted us warmly. Our room, The Algonquin, was spacious, with a small kitchenette and a fireplace. The neighborhood was very quiet, so we slept well. There are lots of places to stay in town, but 627 on King is a go-to. Book early, since there are only three rooms. If you drive an electric vehicle, there's a charging station too. I've stayed at 627 on King a few times when visiting Niagara on the Lake. The owners are a lovely couple, warm, friendly, and helpful without hovering, and they work hard to give guests a great experience. The rooms are clean, nicely appointed, and well maintained. We found fresh fruit in our room, plus yogurt and juice in the fridge, along with assorted teas, coffee, and cookies. There are several nice breakfast options and they're all delicious. Best of all, breakfast is brought right to your room at whatever time you choose.
