We stayed with another couple, and all of us were glad we chose this place instead of a hotel in the Falls area. It’s about a 25-minute drive to the falls, and the scenic route passes beautiful homes and vineyards. The five-choice breakfast was freshly cooked and very good, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. There’s old-world charm in a lovely setting, within walking distance of a pretty street lined with restaurants and shops. Research Niagara on the lake for more about the immediate area. Highly recommend!

The stairs were a challenge for us as a retired couple with mobility issues, since there’s no lift. Even so, we had a wonderful getaway. The Old Bank House is a distinctive boutique hotel near the Niagara River and within walking distance of the old town. The hosts were friendly and attentive, and breakfast was hearty and delicious.

Mary-Clare was a very kind, welcoming host, and we appreciated her hospitality. Breakfast was simple, but perfectly fine to start the day. The house has plenty of character, and our room was clean, cozy, and nicely decorated for a restful overnight stay. My husband, my parents-in-law, and I spent a night at The Old Bank House on a quick trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake. The location is fantastic, right in town and an easy walk from the shops, restaurants, and waterfront. We enjoyed our visit and would happily come back.

The breakfast was wonderful, with five or six options, and I wish I’d tried the omelette, so I guess I’ll be back. We loved NOTL and plan to return in the near future. My partner and I stayed Friday night for a nearby wedding. The room was cute, clean, and just right, and after our nine-hour drive I really enjoyed the shower. We also sat on the patio and took in the lake view. The town center is close, and the wedding venue on Queen Street was only a five-minute walk away. Staff were excellent, let us check in early, and offered to text the door codes in case no one was immediately available. Although other reviews mention noise because the house is older, it was perfect for us and I slept very well. I highly recommend this B&B. Five stars.

We had an unforgettable stay. The place is beautiful and full of charm, across from the lake and gazebo, and just a couple of blocks from the old town main street. It was quiet, the breakfast was yummy, and the staff and management were wonderful. Thank you, Mary Clare and Jing!
