Queen's Landing

The shuttle service from the doormen really stood out during our work retreat. They took our group to a local restaurant promptly, arriving in two minutes, and gave us a direct number to call for a return pickup. When a colleague left his phone in the shuttle, the driver personally brought it into the restaurant five minutes later. That kind of integrity is world-class. This was our second work retreat at Queen’s Landing, and it continues to impress with historic charm and high-end service on the water. The lake and dock views are lovely, while the main street’s boutiques and restaurants are only a five-minute walk away. Niagara Falls is a convenient 30-minute drive if you want the tourist experience without the noise. Rooms and bathrooms are gorgeous, spacious and very clean. There’s a faint historic scent, but it’s negligible. The atmosphere suits a more mature, refined crowd and works well for a focused retreat or quiet getaway. Queen’s Landing remains our top choice in the area, and we’ll definitely be back for a third visit.

The staff and host were absolutely wonderful, and I loved the hotel and spa. I’d come back, but at around $500 a night I expected things to be close to perfect. I couldn’t sleep because the bed was uncomfortable, there was external machine noise at night, and the drapes didn’t block enough light. The spa water also needed to be hotter. I came away more tired than when I arrived. The bar menu could use improvement as well; the food has room to get better. These are meant as constructive comments to help improve a wonderful property.

Everything was stunning, the rooms were gorgeous and extremely clean, and the bed was so comfortable. We loved the pool and hot tub, too. One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Top-notch hotel, and we’ll definitely be back. HIGHLY recommend. Lynn Droy

We spent the weekend here and had a great time exploring the area and golfing down the road. The on-site bar and food were amazing, too. The staff, including everyone at the front of house, were professional and friendly. Fresh flowers in the room each day were a lovely touch. We’d love to come back and highly recommend it.
