The cabins, pool, and grounds are so well looked after, and we love the garden and having firepits ready to use. There are kayaks and canoes, too. My partner and I have returned every August for six years and have always had a lovely time. Cindy and Mike and the whole staff make such an effort to help you feel welcome and comfortable. Greystone really is a gem in Ontario.

We stayed in the Bootshaus and would happily recommend it. Breakfast in the main house was delicious and really well done. The hosts clearly love welcoming people, and it shows in all the thoughtful details that make the place feel like home. We had to change our travel dates at short notice, but they did everything they could to help us out. We never wanted to leave and would love to come back.

There’s plenty to do nearby, and they provide kayaks, canoes, bicycles, firewood, and more at no charge. We liked strolling past the farms and spending time with the chickens. The cabin was themed around the “yellow canoe,” with thoughtful details chosen to match. We loved that.

We had a great stay here, with super friendly owners and canoes and private beach access included. The breakfast was definitely the best we had during our whole time in Canada. I’d recommend it to anybody.

Greystone on Golden Lake was the highlight of our trip to Canada, and I’d come back just to stay there again. I don’t normally write reviews, but our time with Cindy was fantastic. The cottages feel so cozy, with lots of care put into the decor. There’s equipment to borrow for all the activities, free of charge, and Cindy is incredibly welcoming and happy to answer questions or help with requests.
