There was a live band, which was nice, and I can't complain too much about the visit. The drink setup felt odd, though. You have to queue at one end of the bar to get served, and the shots come in tiny plastic cups.

The music and bartenders were good. I drank and ate a bit too much, so I went to the bathroom instead of getting sick on the dance floor. When I came out, they kicked me out. A few doors were locked, but they were easy to push open, which didn't feel very safe.

The food was excellent, and having a microwave and fridge really helped. My room was well air conditioned, but the hallway smelled like someone had been smoking. I also couldn't find the pool, unless it's in the basement.

We only needed tables and chairs for a potluck dinner in the Greenery Room. I was quoted an amount, then told there'd be a $50 charge for bringing food in, which was fine. Both people I spoke with knew we were booking for Boxing Day and that they were open. But when my brother went to pay, they added another fee because it was Boxing Day. We had to pay extra for a holiday, even though we needed nothing else. For new owners getting started in town, they should train the staff on the prices and make sure the fees are explained up front. I won't use their services again.
