The location was convenient, with places to eat nearby and groceries about 4-5 blocks away on foot. Jamie seemed to be the only person working seven days a week, and she was always available, which made up for some of the other shortcomings. I stayed for two months while looking for a rental house, but the room was a basic one-bedroom apartment facing west, so it got the hot evening sun. It was extremely hot without air conditioning. For a short-term or weekly stay, it's not a bad option. Without Jamie, I probably would've looked for somewhere temporary after the first month.

I was there for a week because of a family matter, and Jamie, the manager, was an absolute godsend. She went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed, helped with logistics even on her day off, and gave us a very good price given our situation. It was one of the best customer service experiences I've had. The rooms are full-size apartments, very clean and quiet, and within walking distance of several fast-food places.

The units, hallways, and grounds at Rosedale Manor are well maintained and nicely presented, with many comfortable amenities. Staff take safety seriously, sometimes seeming a little too eager to jump the gate, but it shows how much they care about the building and the people there. That attention helps put your mind at ease. They've opened their home to guests, and it's fair to respect their wish to keep it in good shape and not hear complaints about neighbors. They want people to relax and have a pleasant, comfortable stay. If that's what you're after, I highly recommend Rosedale Manor.

It cost me about $400 a week when I stayed here for three weeks a couple of years ago, while looking for a rental in a tight market. The place felt dated, like an old apartment building from around 1970 that had been converted into a hotel. Aside from the beds, everything seemed very old, almost like visiting a retirement home. The thin walls let me hear every footstep, faucet turn, and cough from upstairs. Having no front desk was awkward, and I struggled to reach management. I even got lost in the hallway once, opened a door with my key, and found it wasn't my unit. Someone called out from inside, and my key worked on other units on that floor. I hope they've fixed that.
