The owner was such a warm host that they even packed us breakfast to take along for our early ferry. We loved the setting by the bay, just a few blocks away with a path down to the water. One morning a deer family came by, and we saw hummingbirds too. The pillows were so soft and fluffy, like sleeping on a cloud. I'd give this place six stars if I could. We'd happily return and would recommend it to others.

The garden and natural surroundings were beautiful, and the location was great. Inside, the rooms were modern, comfortable, and very well cared for. The family treated me like one of their own, and I really enjoyed the fresh homemade meals and the friendly conversations with the couple. Hummers Haven Bed and Breakfast was such a lovely place to be pampered. I highly recommend it and can hardly wait to come back.

Sharon and Barry made us feel welcome, and we had lovely breakfast conversations with them and another couple. They shared tips about local attractions and restaurants and gave us a tourism booklet. We also enjoyed their flower-filled garden and spotted a deer coming through the hedge. Our room was just the right size for two, and it looked inviting after a long day of travel, with white bed covers and two little stuffed toys. Each day they made the bed, emptied the garbage, and refreshed the towels, facecloths, glasses, and water bottles. The little mint chocolates were a nice touch. We even got a hug when we left. We'll stay here again on our next Vancouver Island visit, and highly recommend this B&B. They really know how to make guests feel cared for.

The breakfasts were delicious and generous, enough to keep us going through the day. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable, and the big pillows were lovely and fluffy. We enjoyed meeting the owners, who feel like friends now. There's plenty to see and do nearby, including The Hand to Man museum, which was amazing. We can't wait to return to this beautiful area when spring and summer come back, and to send our family and friends to this gem.

The couple who own the home were lovely to talk with, and their breakfast was excellent. They served something a little different each day, and it was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the Wi-Fi worked well. We'd definitely stay again.
