The countryside setting gave us a quiet break, while still being easy to reach. Doug & Sandy Wiemer were warm and welcoming from the minute we arrived, and you could see how much care they’ve put into the house. We stayed at Enduring Heart Bed and Breakfast, Oxford Mills for our 44th wedding anniversary, and it made the occasion feel special. The room was spotless and comfortable, with thoughtful details throughout. Breakfast was delicious, with an abundant buffet as well. A genuinely lovely place and great value, and we’d happily recommend it for a special getaway.

The room was spacious and glamorous, and the service at breakfast felt fit for Lord and Lady Grantham in Downton Abbey. Out of roughly 24,000 breakfasts in my life, this morning was the most exceptional. Caroline and I spent the night at Enduring Heart Bed and Breakfast in Oxford Mills, near Kempville, where Dave and Sandy were fantastic hosts. They’ve done a beautiful job renovating the 1830's stone house. We had a main course and a small buffet set out just for us, with breakfast seating times staggered so the dining room never filled all at once. At check-in the day before, they served us a classic charcuterie board with a good balance of meats, cheeses, fruits, nuts, and spreads. I can’t say enough. Bragadoons, a great restaurant, is only a two-minute drive away. Highly recommend staying here.

The room was immaculate, and the food had plenty of variety and flavour. Doug and Sandy were attentive, kind, and generous, giving us the best bed and breakfast stay we’ve had. Even though the weather was cool, we still got to enjoy the outdoors with the hot tub and fire options. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again, Doug and Sandy!

The food was a highlight, from the charcuterie plate waiting for us when we arrived to the boxes of almond croissants we took home. I’ve never had better croissants. Breakfast was delicious, made with fresh ingredients from their gardens and other local sources, and presented so beautifully we almost didn’t want to disturb it. My husband and I stayed at this beautiful Bed and Breakfast this past weekend, and we’re still talking about what a wonderful time we had. Sandy and Doug are amazing hosts who have thought through every detail to make the stay feel just right. The service was unparalleled. Thank you, Sandy and Doug 🩷!
