Amenities seem to break every other week. The lobby also feels unprofessional: the concierge often appears to be chatting with the same people and their dogs instead of greeting or helping guests. Those people approach visitors and interact as though they work in the building, which is confusing and inappropriate. The desk should welcome residents and visitors and help keep the lobby professional. Management should review how the role is being handled and make sure staff take their duties seriously.

The lounge on the 34th, top floor is cozy and really nice for hosting a get-together or party. There are plenty of seats and a sofa, plus a pool table, TV, and foosball games.

Please avoid Unit 809. We lived there for a full year, and soon after moving in the kitchen sink basin came loose, the front-door handle broke off, and the drain was already clogged. We handled the smaller issues ourselves, but the landlord, Taariq Kassam, who introduced himself as Terry, ignored us about the basin and handle. He didn’t respond to messages or calls and even blocked me. We ended up paying to fix everything ourselves. I had a strong feeling we wouldn’t get our deposit back, so I asked around and searched his name. Look him up on Google. We weren’t the only ones, and I heard from someone who used to work with him that they also hadn’t been paid and warned me to be careful. As I feared, our $2,350 deposit never came back. I sincerely hope no one else goes through what we did.

I’m so happy with this building. It’s in a convenient, safe location and has the best amenities in town. The concierge and security are there 24/7 and are always very helpful. Couldn’t be happier living here.

Sucre Pattisiere has lovely tables for two and serves high tea with tiered pastries and two pots of loose-leaf tea. There’s a $10.00 deposit and it costs $27.50 on the day. You can go any day, and it’s a really nice treat for occasions like birthdays, Mother’s Day, or Valentine’s Day. They also have GF Macaroons and lots of other goodies.
