There’s no reception or staff on site, and the owner never told us that the door was unlocked and that we could just walk in. That’s what he now says my sister should have understood. She booked a weekend through Booking.com, which told her to contact the owner for check-in details. She did, but got no reply. We called several times, but there was no answer and the voicemail was full. Messages through the business website also went unanswered. A month later, there was still no refund. He stole my sister’s money. Read the other reviews if you’re considering staying here, there’s a pattern. Despicable business. Edit: We haven’t made threats or insults.

The bathroom and towels were fine, and the place was spacious. The kitchen cabinets, dishes, utensils, and fridge were dirty. I’ve never experienced anything like this, and it’s still astonishing to think about. The listing on Booking.com said there were two separate bedrooms and a living room. There was only one bedroom, with the second sleeping area in the living room near the entrance. After I complained and asked for fair compensation for something I’d paid for in advance, the host threatened and intimidated us, then kicked us out. People sent by the host came to the door five or six times, kept knocking, and tried to get us to leave. The host repeatedly said the police were coming. The maid he sent was aggressive and intimidating, kept saying we had to leave and the police were coming, and tried to force the door open to enter. The host called my mobile 29 times in three hours and left 10 voice messages. He sounded clearly drunk in the first four. Booking.com could only offer a partial refund for the night we didn’t stay because we’d been kicked out. This was the worst place I’ve stayed in, considering all the countries I’ve visited.
