Fall in Cape Breton was breathtaking, and the Mini Tropical Cabin made the trip even better. It was right by the ocean, super cute, and had an awesome view. We had an amazing stay at Sea Parrot, and our host was so sweet. We’ll definitely be back.

The loft was comfortable, and waking up to that sunrise and beautiful view was lovely. While visiting Cape Breton, we looked at several places before choosing Sea Parrot resort. We were glad we did. Even though the property was fully booked, the owners were wonderful and showed us around.

The cottages have a quirky, unique feel, and the property is stunning, quiet, and safe. We loved catching both sunrise and sunset, and occasionally spotting a seal along the shore. The beachfront did disappoint us a little, though that isn’t the owners’ fault. Past storms have changed the shoreline quite drastically since the postcards and website photos showed the cottages right on the beach. Now there’s a steep walkway down to the beach, which isn’t ideal for kids or anyone with mobility issues.

July 8-10/25 We looked forward to returning to our apartment after each Cabot Trail excursion. Sitting by the water was so relaxing, and the oceanfront location was breathtaking. The apartment was clean, comfy, and beyond what we expected. Lonnie was a sweetheart. This was the highlight of our vacation, and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for having us. After a day of sightseeing, it was perfect to come back to our comfortable room, enjoy the great ocean view, and relax. Lonnie was incredibly kind and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and at home. The place was comfortable and right on the ocean. We could drive around cape breton park and down to louisberg, with a place to eat up the road and shops to browse and enjoy.
