We had a week-long work and pleasure stay at this clean, functional guest house, right in the Oliver-OK Falls-Penticton corridor and among six great vineyards. The owners were great too. I’ll come back if I can get a booking.

The shared kitchen was well equipped, and it was easy to get to several great wineries. It’s a quiet place, with lots of good birding right from the deck.

I loved the time I spent there. It’s a beautiful place. One thing left me puzzled, though: at night I saw what looked like an eight-meter-long moose walking upright, and its head looked like a skull. It scared me a little. I’m a spiritualist, so I think it may have just been in my head...

The price felt a little high. Still, it’s a lovely spot in a natural area among semi-arid hills, and the adobe building helps keep things cool. The AC was welcome during the heatwave. It’s near wineries and nature walks, and we saw deer on the property.

They’ve done a great job looking after the habitat around the property, so it’s a lovely place to see wildlife. The little guest house is cosy, well equipped, and the location is excellent. The welcome was friendly too.
