We stayed a couple of nights. It’s a university residence, so you get what you pay for, but the rooms are decent, with a big bed, spare rooms and working AC that kept things cool on a hot summer day. The staff were welcoming, caring and helpful. We had trouble with the lock and key cards, but those things happen, and the staff did their best to sort it out. There’s a nice view of the Canal, and you can kind of see Parliament Hill, though part of it is blocked. Still, better than nothing.

We stayed for three nights in a two bedroom apartment with a fridge and microwave. We liked the room, the staff were nice and accommodating, and everything went smoothly. One of the rooms also had a nice view of the canal.

We found this hotel really good on our recent trip to Ottawa. It had two rooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. The price was okay, and getting around was easy.

Everything was walkable, and the hotel is close to the downtown core. Parking wasn’t included and cost almost $20 a day. We realized after unpacking that we’d left some things in the room. When we returned the next day to ask about them, staff said there was a lost and found but wouldn’t let us check through it ourselves. They told us to come back the following day because housekeeping needed to log the items. We went back two days in a row, but were simply told they didn’t have them, even though this was the only place we’d stayed. One person tried to help and even searched our room. The other didn’t make an effort and just played on her phone.

We stayed in the two bedroom unit for one night during the Tulip festival. The kitchen had a microwave, fridge and sink, and the bathroom was a good size, with four towels, shampoo and soap provided. It was comfortable and much more affordable than booking two hotel rooms. The location is very central, and parking cost $9 a night.
