My girlfriend and I arrived with an online booking. At first the owner said we were the only guests, so she'd put us in the largest room, and mentioned that she makes hearty breakfasts. But when she noticed we'd paid less online because Expedia's prices weren't up to date, she started crying. She said we'd get the small room instead, and that our breakfast would match what we'd paid, meaning a small one. We'd booked two nights, but my girlfriend got sick just an hour and a half after we arrived, so we decided to leave. I asked the owner if we could get a refund for one night given what had happened. She refused, without pointing to any refund policy, and said, "You already paid less, I'm not making much money off you guys." That was the worst service we had in Percé, and we'll never set foot there again. The owner came across as only interested in money. I hope she sells up.

The place is clean and has some old-world charm, but the owner does everything herself, is looking to sell, and the energy seems gone. It gets very hot, and a small 6-inch fan just pushes the warm air around. Breakfast was toast, a crepe, and fruit. If you wanted more coffee, you had to say who would be having it so she could make more, as she didn't want to waste any. Interaction seemed limited to paying and leaving :-) Checkout was an hour earlier than 10 am. For a health center, that's not ideal. I hope she sells.

The breakfast was generous and varied, and the owner is friendly. She joins guests during breakfast to chat and share advice. The room was pleasant, and the shared bathroom had plenty of shampoo and shower gel to choose from. It's a quiet cottage on the edge of Percé, though a bit far from the town center, so you'll need to drive and pay those exorbitant parking fees.

The breakfasts were PATHETIC, with very limited amounts of food. I still can't get over how awful this B&B experience was. Lyne, the owner, did welcome us, but the reception area was messy and not very clean, and the room she showed us was tiny. There are four rooms sharing one bathroom. It had no soap or shampoo for guests, no hand towels, just the bare minimum. The shower wasn't very clean, the toilet smelled bad, and the shower tray had hair and other debris in it, so I showered wearing sandals. With only four rooms a day, cleaning should be a priority. I hope she sells so she can move on to something else. She clearly no longer has the spark, passion, or respect for her guests. Disappointed across the board.
