The Gulf of St. Lawrence view is stunning, and the large cottage cost about $325 for two nights, which was a good price. Still, it was very run down despite being fixed up a little, and the whole site is for sale. There was black mold on the wall heaters and around the tub and toilet base. I wouldn’t bother with the smaller rooms, which are extremely cramped. Next time, we’ll pay a little more for one of the newer cottages closer to Percé.

The lady who greeted me was very nice, and my two days in percé were good. But the motel room wasn’t: there was no TV or fridge, the windows wouldn’t close, and the bed moved around. The sofa was so dirty I couldn’t use it. You’d be better off staying by the side of the road.

The room was dirty and outdated, with no fridge or microwave. It’s far from town, so getting anything was difficult.
