Les Sommets Charlevoix

The staff were polite, professional, and very accommodating, and the location is beautiful. Le Massif is 10 minutes away and Mount Saint Anne is 30 minutes away. The views are incredible, and the facilities have fantastic amenities. The chalet itself is really nice, though a few things fell short for the price we paid per night. The showers were either hot or cold, and the bathroom doors wouldn't open more than a foot because the floor tiles were too high. The finishes and workmanship looked rushed or like they hadn't been done by a professional. At $450 per night, I expected the faucets and doors to work properly.

Sommets Charlevoix had amenities we loved, including the spa, sauna, board games, and ice skating rink. The chalet was very clean and the location was beautiful. We loved our stay, would recommend it to friends and family, and would come back.

The receptionist who welcomed us was great and shared tips on what to check out in the region. Since they were testing the water and didn't have the results yet, she quickly offered bottled water to make sure we were okay. We didn't have an outdoor fire pit, but she said we could use the shared one and even lent us metal sticks for roasting marshmallows. Our chalet at the Sommets was very nice, clean, and comfortable for our family of 5. The kids loved the area, and it was peaceful at night, with only the sounds of the woods and some howling in the distance. We'd definitely go back.

We had a spacious, inviting, clean 2br unit overlooking the ocean, with comfortable beds and decent cooking equipment. The building is basically ski in ski out at the base of the mountain, and it made a perfect base for 4 days of sightseeing and skiing around the Charlevoix region. I'd definitely stay here again.
