The bed was so comfortable that I slept really well, and the Bay of Fundy is beautiful. There’s a beach on the motel grounds and handy firepits nearby. The location is spectacular, the staff are great, and the rooms are cute. But the septic system is no good, the toilets and showers don’t really work. There were no tissues, napkins, or paper towels, which was tough with my terrible seasonal allergies. There was a lot of smoking outside, so I couldn’t sit out or open the door for a breeze without smelling it.

I was between houses for a day with my two cats during a heat wave, and the staff were very accommodating. The woman at the front desk offered me a lovely room well before check-in, which made a stressful day much more comfortable. The room was sweet, had everything I needed, and the view was spectacular. Excellent service. I’ll definitely come back for a more relaxing stay next time.

The staff were helpful and very nice, and the room was clean, perfect, and had everything for preparing our own food. We’d brought ground coffee, but the room’s machine took pods. When we asked at the desk, they gave us a machine with filters. A few things could be better: the balconies need some separation, and the light was too bright to enjoy the night sky without heading to the fire area or beach. Also, when someone below slams the sliding door, things in your room can rattle.

The view is fantastic, and the owner was pleasant and professional. It was my first time at Clipper Ship Motel, and the place was quiet and very clean. It felt like home. My husband stayed here 15+ years ago and loved it then. Pets are allowed too. I’ll be back!

The new section is great, and the views are fantastic. It was really noisy until 11 this time, though. I also don’t like the dusk-to-dawn lights. They’re much too bright at night, and you can’t turn them off. This was my third time here.
