The backyard and pool give La Maison du Doc a lovely auberge feel, and the prices are very competitive. Janine Hébert was such a friendly, attentive host. She even remembered the kids’ names and surprised them with hot chocolate at breakfast. Our suite was spotless, with a comfortable bed, soft crisp white linens, and its own air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent and generous. A great getaway with or without the kids.

We were new to staying in a gîte, and the owners made us feel so welcome with their kindness. I was especially impressed by how clean everything was. I’d recommend it to anyone traveling through the area. 😀
