Motel Bon-Air Pont-Rouge

The restaurant out front had tasty food, good portions, and very fair prices, though breakfast wasn't included. Parking is right outside each room, and the staff were kind and helpful even though we don't speak any French. The rooms have the basics, but that's enough for a quick night or two. It's clean and inexpensive, and this motel deserves a better Google review. The mattresses may not suit taller people, but if you're not picky, you'll sleep fine.

The staff were great and the location was great too, but the rooms were awful and much too small. We arrived at 10 at night with our only baby, who was 8.5 months old, and they did give us an extra blanket and pillow for her. We were told the room had no AC, though, and had to manage through the night with a tiny fan. Luckily, mother nature was kind. There was no fridge or tea table either. I don't want to mislead anyone by giving the room a bad rating, but those were the conditions.

After a long ride on our motorcycles, we ate and had drinks there. We loved it, and the staff were very helpful despite the language barrier. I'd recommend it.

I only went a few times for family parties in the reception room, never rented a room. Each time everything went well, the temperature was comfortable, the food was fine, and I didn't miss anything.
