The family run feel made us feel more connected to the community than we usually do at a chain hotel, and the river with its walking path is right across the street. Our room was simple but clean, with what looked like a recently updated kitchenette. The beds were good, the sheets felt lovely, and the service was excellent. We hope to visit Port Alberni again, and I'd happily stay here.

After a scary drive through a snowstorm left me stuck in Port Alberni for the night, I was so glad to find this charming place. The rooms were roomy, comfortable, and extremely clean. It has the feel of a well run mom and pop business, and you can tell the owners take pride in it.

We'd happily stay again after our two nights over the Canada long weekend. The rooms were immaculate, with very good housekeeping, comfortable beds and pillows, A/C, and a kitchenette stocked with what you need. Everything looked newly renovated and was VERY CLEAN. There’s also an outdoor seating area with a picnic table and BBQ, and pets are welcome.

The location was great, and the staff helped us get into our room. I had trouble sleeping because the bedding felt too firm, though my mom slept well. The tiny washroom also had no fan, so it could get stuffy or fog up when showering.
