The shared space had a nice communal feel, with plenty of ways to cook, and the rooms were lovely. Ingrid was accommodating and lovely to talk with on the phone. We had a really good two-night stay in this beautiful, quiet town, with a great location. Since it's a self-catered lodge, having a washing machine available would be helpful. There's a campsite a few minutes' drive away, though. I'd definitely recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay at Big Fish, and breakfast was awesome. The lodge is huge, right on the beach, and has an incredible kitchen with all the bells and whistles. Some rooms are luxurious and romantic, while others look roomy enough for a whole family. Amazing place, highly recommend it!

Our little yoga getaway felt peaceful thanks to the serene beach setting, and we enjoyed the short walk to the marina and being close to the grocery store. Big Fish Lodge was lovely, with comfortable, clean rooms and a kitchen very well equipped for a small group. Bonnie, the manager, was helpful and made the stay really pleasant.

We had a good time at this funky, laid-back B&B in quiet Port Renfrew. There were a few rough edges, including a bathroom faucet handle that kept falling off, but the back deck's million-dollar view and the private beach were lovely to explore. Breakfast was quite good, and it was fun meeting the other interesting guests at the lodge.

The lodge's common area is set up well and makes a great place to meet other travellers. My room was clean and very comfortable, with the sound of waves from the beach. Highly recommend it. As others have said, download maps of the area ahead of time, especially if you're driving after sunset.
